“I was surrounded by women who were doing wonderful deeds and work within their communities and I wanted a place to spotlight them.”

"Holly was my boss nine years ago at a male dominated medical device company. She broke through the glass ceiling and was the only female manager in our division. It definitely was difficult for her at times.

I would say Holly and I really had our “forever bonding moment” when she stood up to her boss for me. He went back on a deal he said I could do with my largest account. She fought against him, got the deal through, and became my hero. Unfortunately, I know that caused her future hardships with upper management and probably damaged her career progression with that company.

A few years later, Holly wrote a girl’s guide to surviving the male dominated corporate world. She also formed the private Facebook group called “The Chick Clique”. Holly faced challenges as a female in the workplace for years and wanted to share her experience with others. The Chick Clique is a group pioneering where corporate women are heading in the coming years. Setting the pace for our daughters, sisters and friends. Holly is launching a career coaching business which is focusing on women over 40 who are either re-entering the workforce or wanting to make a career change. She is someone who many people, men and women admire.
